I'm glad you found your way to the blog page. I'll be updating this every so often with some information about the book, any events and details, and other things that might cross my mind.
This is my first published novel. I've been very grateful to have worked with the fine people at Red Adept Publishing, and especially my editors Alyssa Hall and Lynn McNamee (who is also the publisher).
I was inspired to write this book by my wife, Kim, and our dearly missed cocker spaniel, Oliver. Kim always swore that he was telekinetic, in that he could always seem to make treats roll off the table and food drop out of your hand and into his mouth. When I met my wife, she had already owned Ollie for a few years. She said she knew I was a good guy because Ollie loved me so much. He passed away of old age in 2008 and we still miss him.
One day, when we were stuck in a traffic jam in an over-heated car - very similar to the first scene in the book - I wished very intently to be able to snap my fingers and make the stupid cars ahead of stop rubbernecking and drive. And that was when the seeds of the story took root.
It's been a lot of fun to write this book and share this story with everyone. I hope you enjoy it as well.
